*godsdienst staat vol met spreekwoordelijke verbeeldingen

*retoriek van dehumanizing; kidnappen van taal, door een symbool te gebruiken. Je kan dit alleen tegen gaan door een sterk woord ertegen over te zetten.

When a good artist from Morocco creates something, moroccans don’t seem to recognise it’s worth or value. It has to be appreciated by foreigners (in France mostly) before moroccans actually acknowledge the artist and their work.

This complex comes from colonialism and brainwashing > 'white people are better, they know better'

reference; Faouzi Bensaidi, film director who made genius films before. When one of his films 'Sofia' was prized at Cannes and finally got on Netflix (trough france), he became more acknowledged and known in Morocco.
